A poem written by me

He was trying to keep
the deceptive metals in deep
he thought that they were diamonds
connected to his being or his eyes
but never he thought
to go to the eye's root
to see what is there to meet.

Now he sees
cause there love is
now he has nothing in deep
a delightful hollowness giving its beep.
